Questions Frequently Asked about DMHO

Q. The last studio project was Good to Go and it's already over a year old. When can we expect the next totally new CD?
A. While it's true that Good to Go has been out there for a while, Denver and the guys have been busy. Since Good to Go was released, they recorded Timeless Christmas (a full length studio project), Live at Long Hollow (the DVD) and produced the live audio CD as well. Not a bad accomplishment in just over a year. All this was done while maintaining a seriously busy tour schedule. But that still doesn't answer your question. Denver is busy writing the next full length studio project and you can expect some surprises too. Here's the insider info: Expect to hear another hymn arrangement. This time he's working on a blues arrangement of a very famous hymn. And we've heard that one of the new songs is titled "Shake It Up" - can't wait to check that one out...
Q: What album has the most swing/big band music?
A: We get that question a lot! Right now, Act the Scat has more big band selection than any of the others. However, Act the Scat is a bit dated, (it was recorded at Belmont University while Denver was in college after all) and we felt it was time for an update. So stay tuned, there is a new ALL BIG BAND record on its way. Code named "Swing", it will feature some of the classics, remixed and remastered, as well as a selection of brand new tunes for your listening pleasure. All of them with in your face, rocking the block, big band horns!
